The consultation session takes one to one and a half hour.
The length of the assessment session depends on the type of assessments administered. The minimum length is one hour and the maximum length is three hours. Call our front office for further details.
The Irlen screening session takes around one and a half hour, while the diagnostic session takes around two hours.
Yes , Alef Centre issues reports with the results of the assessments done. However, we do not issue reports after initial screening or consultation sessions.
The report is usually issued after 10-15 working days of the last assessment session.
The report includes the results of the assessments done in addition to recommendations of best intervention solutions. The report may also include recommendations and accommodations for school setting if requested.

The intervention session takes from 60-90 minutes. In order for an intervention to draw some effects, a minimum number of 12 sessions is required. However, in some situations, the intervention might last for more than that.
Yes, Alef Centre offers individual and group intervention sessions.
Alef Centre offers parenting consultation sessions. Additionally, home visits for setting home interventions and follow up can be provided upon request. The home intervention is about planning and setting tailored strategies for parents to carry on at the home in dealing with their children. Alef center does not offer tutoring sessions.
Inclusion in education is an approach to educating students with special educational needs. Under the inclusion model, students with special needs spend most or all of their time with non-special needs students.
An inclusive classroom is a general education classroom in which students with and without disabilities learn together. Inclusive practice is an approach to teaching that recognizes the diversity of students, enabling all students to access course content, fully participate in learning activities and demonstrate their knowledge and strengths at assessment.
